2017: PASIFIKA INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTERS

We are proud to introduce our six(6) weeks "Pasifika Introduction to Computers" programme that will be starting in February 2017.

This open-entry introduction programme is targetted at Pasifika adult learners over 16 years of age who are first-time users of computers who need some basic computer skills. This course is suited for people looking to enter the workforce or wanting to learn how to use the internet to connect with family.

Who can enrol

We want as many Pasifika people (uncles, aunties, cousins to access this free course). Learning how to use your computer, how to use the internet and even to write an email or letter will unlock your journey to learn more about how to make technology work for you.

What you will learn

This course introduces learners to computer hardware and software, email use, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation and design software such as Photoshop and PowerPoint.

What makes this course unique

At PEC we are proud of our Pasifika languages and cultures. In this class you will be surrounded by other Pacific people in a friendly, modern Pasifika environment with a great team. We also have a shared-lunch at the end of the programme, where you could invite your familiy to celebrate your learning.
