HomeWhen Pasifika Education Centre (formerly known as PIERC Education) was established in 1975, a mandate was issued by the Government of the day wherein PEC was to preserve, maintain and promote indigenous Pacific Languages. Now, 38 years later, Pasifika Education Centre are proud to still be here offering FREE Pacific Language and Culture classes to the Adult Community.
New Zealand is increasingly becoming a more multicultural city so the knowledge of a Pacific language allows one to be more welcoming of other peoples and cultures. Our classes are free, taught by well qualified and experienced tutors and are held in various community centres around Auckland. If you are over the age of 16 we invite you to find a suitable class and join!!

Learn a Pacific Language
All classes have experienced tutors and are held in a friendly environment. We welcome all ages and all levels. Pacific Education Centre offers the opportunity to enrich their learning by enrolling in a Pacific Island Language classes.
