Imagine singing the New Zealand national anthem in the Tongan language?
Thanks to the Pasifika Education Centre (PEC) in collaboration with the New Zealand Tongan Tertiary Students Association (NZTTSA) - it’s a reality.

PEC launches new song to celebrate 2013 Cook Island Language Week.
This year's theme is Toku Reo Utuutu, which means 'My language - Nurture it.'
On Wednesday 7th August from 5.00pm we will be hosting a 'Cook Island Song Night'. There will be food, family, ukulele playing, drumming, dancing and lei making!
This will also be the night where our tutor: Rama Isaia will launch her newly composed Cook Island song. We invite everyone to come along. Aere mai! Celebrate and enjoy how Kuki Airani language and culture is part of our life here in Aotearoa.
